How to take herbal medicine
At Yomogi-do, insurance cannot be used to cover moxibustion treatment fees or herbal medicine consultation fees, but some people may be able to use them depending on the type of insurance they have. Please inquire with your insurance company.
Also, please contact your insurance company regarding any herbal medicines sent to you by herbal medicine manufacturers. Consultation fees and medicine costs are billed separately.
If you live in Switzerland, the same applies as above.
You cannot order herbal medicines directly from manufacturers. You need my license.
How to take herbal medicine
Herbal medicines are available in powder or tablet form .
Unless you have a specific request, we will generally provide you with powder. Powder is more effective than tablets.
Dissolve one spoonful (provided) in hot water.
Take when cooled
Take 3 times a day before or between meals when you are hungry.
If you miss a dose, take it when you remember. Wait at least 4 hours before taking your next dose.
Basically, you will be prescribed two drugs: a main treatment (to improve your constitution) and a symptomatic treatment (to relieve your current symptoms). You can either dissolve the drugs separately and take them, or mix them together and take them.
